Your surgeon will assess your medical history, goals, expectations, and offer a personalized treatment plan and together with you decided if this is the right choice for you. Important things for you to consider in the meantime are: Am I in relatively good health? What are my specific goals and look I’m wanting to achieve? Answer:  ETPS does not charge a consultation fee for injectable (Botox/filler) or Breast Augmentation appointments. All other cosmetic consultations require a $50 fee paid at the time of scheduling, which is applied to your surgery when booked. If your appointment/surgery is medically necessary and covered by insurance, you will be charged the usual and customary consultation fee, make your co-payment (if applicable), and your insurance will be billed as appropriate and per your agreement with your insurer.
Answer:  As with any surgery or medical procedure, there is always risk involved even if it is rare and unusual. Each year millions of plastic surgeries and procedures are performed without complications, but a discussion of risks/complications are always a part of every consultation at East Tennessee Plastic Surgery. Our surgeons make assessments at your initial consultation to ensure you are a good candidate for the desired procedure and healthy enough to undergo any surgery. They discuss the procedure with you in detail and describe what you can expect and what could happen; if indicated, they will request medical clearance for surgery from your doctor. They also provide you with detailed post-operative instructions to help minimize the risks and to optimize your results. ETPS goes above and beyond to ensure you receive exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgery to get your surgery done safely, get your goals met, and make you feel supported throughout your recovery.
