Your face is the first feature that most people see when they look at you. As you age, you naturally look older. Many factors affect this process; some of which you can control and some of which you cannot. One of things that you cannot do anything about is heredity.  Your genetic make up affects how you age. Other factors include sun exposure/tanning, smoking and the care you have taken with your skin in the past. Loss of volume occurs in the face as we age.  Volume loss and the effects of gravity make us appear older.  Fortunately, there are things that you can do to help correct volume loss and the changes due to aging. Surgery may be the best treatment to provide facial rejuvenation. Face lifts, neck lifts,  brow lifts, and eyelid surgery are surgical options. Sometimes two or more of these surgeries are combined to provide the best results. All of these surgeries are available for men or women of various ages. A natural, more youthful, looking appearance is our goal. For some patients, less invasive procedures may help to rejuvenate the face, enabling them to postpone surgery for several years. FACEtite is our newest surgery for the face and neck. (See details below) At your consultation, we can help you decide  which options are right for you.

Facetite/Necktite

Facetite provides dramatic improvement in skin laxity on the face and neck. It utilizes minimally invasive radio-frequency energy to melt fat and tighten skin. Facetite can be used to improve jowl line, loose skin and double chins. Patients can obtain natural looking final results without the excisions and scars associated with a facelift. Results can be seen immediately, with the best results noticeable in about 12 weeks.

Rhytidectomy (Facelift)

Facelift

A facelift (Rhytidectomy) corrects the signs of an aging face and neck, including deep facial creases, loose skin of the neck and cheeks,  excess fatty deposits in the neck  and jowls. If the majority of  the underlying problems are in the neck area alone, a neck lift may be all that is needed.
The facelift removes excess fat and skin; tightens and lifts the facial structures; and redrapes the skin around the face and neck, resulting in a firmer, more youthful appearance. Liposuction of the jowls and/or neck may be performed if necessary for optimal results. A facelift is most effective on a person who still has some elasticity in the skin, a strong bone structure, and leads a healthy lifestyle. It is imperative that any person having a facelift be a non-smoker.

Browlift (Forehead lift)

A browlift corrects drooping  brows and sometimes helps the appearance of the upper eyelids. It can correct deep frown lines on the forehead and between the eyes. During the procedure, muscles of the forehead are tightened or removed to give a firmer, smoother brow and a more alert appearance. This surgery can be done endoscopically, or when it is necessary to removed excess skin, it can be performed as an open procedure.

Blepharoplasty (Eyelid Surgery)

eyelid surgery

Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) improves the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or both.  Indications for this procedure are

-Excess skin of  the upper eyelid that creates folds or hides the natural contour of the eyelid
-Puffy appearance of the upper eyelid, producing a tired look
-Droopy lower eyelids which show the white below the iris
-Excess wrinkles around the lower eyelids
-Bags and dark circles under the eyes
In blepharoplasty, fat, excess skin and muscle are removed from the upper and lower eyelids. Both upper and lower lids may be done in one surgical procedure or they may be performed separately.

Other procedures are available for the face, some surgical like a surgery of the nose (Rhinoplasty) and others are non-surgical like fillers and Botox. Call today for your appointment for a consultation to help us decide what is best for you.
